Hey, i am in the market for a notebook.

leaning twoards Averatec (mainly for the $$, and my brother has one that he loves).

has anyone had any experience upgrading them ??

i am either going to wait for the 4100 (most likely).
    but i was looking @ the 6200..
    any ram upgrading issues??
also what about upgrading the actual CPU has anyone done that ?
along with that question, switching from a Sempron to Athlon or Turion?
    is that even possible?

Well any other upgrades yall have done im interested in hearing.

The only thing that I've upgraded on my 6130hs is the memory went from 512 to 1.25 gig of ram. I've left the hd as is and I'm thinking of replacing my dvd writer with a better one. I haven't upgraded the cpu because 3 ghz is fast enough for me anyway.

I know some Averatecs require that you remove the case to upgrade the hard drive which voids the warranty.
