    Hello,

Has anyone had any experience with repairs under the warranty with P1? If so, did they go smoothly? Other service/support comments would be appreciated. I am going into my freshman year of college, and the MX seems like a perfect laptop for me, a casual gamer.

I have not had any warranty repairs per se through them, but required their assistance first from a lemon Fujitsu that I purchased through them (ultimately after Fujitsu tech people made a bad situation worse, Ivan from Portableone secured a full refund for me) and then for some minor tweaking on the UX I purchased last fall.

Their pre and post-sales support is amazing- I have never experienced such great customer service. Whether by e-mail or phone, they are reachable, without annoying holds. You get to speak to a person who cares about your problem and follows through; not someone who reads from a script.

Their units are reliable and durable and, coupled with their service, I think they have a competitively-priced product that can't be beat. The first time you have a problem (and with computers, whether software or hardware related, invariably something always goes wrong) you'll be grateful you bought from them!

Congrats on your HS graduation and good luck in college next year!

Thats basically the situation I was in, and I got the MX, and love it, haven't had any problems necesitating warranty repairs, but I'm going to have to send it back to get bluetooth installed when they get the cables in, but they're doing prepaid 2nd day air both ways so it seems good so far.

Their website boasts that they only use new parts when making repairs because it doesn't cost much more and it avoids problems. That's my kind of philosophy! Go check out their reviews at www.resellerratings.com. You'll see they are beyond reproach.
