    Title is self explanatory. Could there be a problem with the laptop or battery already? or could it be a smaller issue?

    The laptop has an ample amount of battery life left when I am trying to start it up.

    Mine start perfectly with/without AC plugged in. Did you reinstall your battery?

    go into the bios and sit...then unplug it. does it shut off then as well?
