will agearnotebooks.com or powernotebooks.com have a sale?

Will they have a sale on the compal's once santa rosa is released? I don't know how these sites do their sales, but i'm seriously considering buying the hgl30 so I need to know =p

Well, you are already too late. The HGL30 has been discontinued and there will be no more brought into the US after this last shipment that is already sold out.

Usually when a new model is to be introduced everyone is very careful not to have any of the old ones left over. In this current transition we are finding that we will be out of most models very shortly (already out of the HGL30), and will have to wait a couple of weeks or so for the new models to come in.

The latest word is Santa Rosa based laptops under any brand will not start shipping until sometime in June...probably late June as opposed to early June.

LOL, good thing I had the sense to make this thread. I would buy the new model if it wasn't going to be more expensive because I sense that it will be, and i'm on a tight budget. Thanks for your help.

edit: i hope santa rosa doesn't cost to much because I'm not going to put up with an increase of $300 or so. Hopefully prices will go down a month after it's released.
