I don't see many reviews at all on Winbook computers. Are they any good?

    http://winbook.com/notebooks/a700/a_overview.html

That one is the one im looking at.. but if someone knows.. can I add more memory? And how good at playing games does it look? (which games you think it can play ok).. I don't see much on its video card...

Well thanks b/c I simply haven't been able to find a review on this brand of notebook(well one, but old old odl)

They're a really small brand...I had one years ago and it was fine, I honestly don't know how they're doing now.

    WinBook X series http://winbook.com/notebooks/x/x_overview.html
is based on 12" Uniwill 223ii0 barebone.
There are many clones of this machine under different names in different countries.
I have one of them. AlienWare Sentia is another one different only by the external design. There are plenty of reviews available. Can give you more details, if winbook x series is what interests you. Yes, it is difficult to find a review of this machine under winbook x... name,
there are not many of them but there are some, e.g.
    WinBook X540 Reviews
    http://www.hardwarecentral.com/hardwarecentral/reviews/5666/1/
    http://laptopmag.com/Review/WinBook-X540.htm

I guess, similar is valid also for other winbooks. Just compare them with the models on uniwill.com, find a model of interest for you, and then google its name.

well, then my comment can be useless for you, because I am not sure uniwill has any 17"
athlon 64 based model. The notebook of interest for you can be based on a barebone by another producer. I advice to google using "17" WXGA Athlon 64 ..." entry to see which models in this cathegory exist at all, and thencompare them with Winbook A... This way you may find a name of its equivalent based on the same barebone which has a review.
