    I'vejustprice up a 6024 and a 6224 and the 6224 with the graphics card is cheaper by about 10quid. try it yourself if you don't believe me!!

    also the white model is about 30quid more.....

    I thought the 6024W and 6224W are about the same in price. Either way, Zepto appears to be making a better margin on the people who want the slightly better battery life offered by the X3100.

    Maybe ZeptoUK can explain.

    The power model of the 6224 has been on offer for about 1 month, that is nothing new and the banner on the website had stated the discount for a long time, the Banner has now changed on the UK website this week, but currently the discount is still on

    does that mean that it will not be on for much longer......

    whilst you are answering questions
    -the charge for vista ultimate is 140 but 92 if I buy from dabs
    -the charge for vista home basic is 61 or 42 from dabs.

    I can understand that there would be a cost involved in installing it however why so much more for ultimate? I really want ultimate but also don't really want the hassle of installing myself....

    anyway thanks foranswering the other question and I'm 99% there for buying a 6224

    As for the operating system cost, it is reasonable that Zepto charge something to install it. It all adds to the assembly time. (Whether it needs more time to install vista Ultimate is another matter, but I expect that the philosophy is that the people who want it it are willing to pay more.

    We have a standard charge for the operating systems that we sell and the price is the same if the customer wants the OS installed or not

    The 6224W offer will finish soon but I dont know exactly when

    Will the offer on the 6224W finish before the higher processors are listed for the 6224W? Because I am waiting to buy a 6224W with a T7500 or higher as I am sure others are too.

    As far as I am aware they will not be coming back on the 14inch models. There has been a couple of threads on this before and we have always stated that they we will not be introducing them again. Of course if I hear anything different or anything chances then it would be announced here 1st
