    hey hey,

i've just installed the common applications onto vista (ms office, adobe, 1 or two others)..and ive just realized the fan starts and stops every now and then (within a minute)....continuously.

not sure if it was always like this... its only 1 day old!!!

anyways any other 6625 owners experiencing this?

by the way this is with me just idling on vista desktop, doing nothing, and no aero just the vista background....

i've got the zalman nc-1000 notebook cooler underneath it but i dont thinks thats the problem...the notebook doesn't feel warm at all, with the fan from the cooler pad on the base of the notebook is freezing!

    ....

also the hdd light is blinkingperiodically too...also on idle...is this normal? i do have nod running and setpoint for my mouse...

    thanks!

ah! i forgot all about this ! hehe thanks!

i did get nhc 2.0 as well cos its supports vista now...but i dont find it too helpful.

a little off topic, but should i enable nvidia powermizer? i read somewhere this seems to help performance...but the thing is it wont let me check the 'enable powermizer' box...

    thanks again!

You can also put your 'BIOS defaults' back, that's what I did and that worked to!
