Hi all-lurked here for a little bit researching Toughbook nuances before pulling the trigger on a CF30 for work and registering here. So far so good-purchased through eBay-model # is CF30FQSAXAE-BP with 1290 hours showing in the BIOS. 2 gigs RAM (waiting on another 2GB to arrive) /80GB hard drive (although I have purchased a 500MB 7200 rpm drive with XP Pro imaged for this model through another eBay seller that I'm currently waiting on) /touchscreen/emissive backlit keyboard/GPS, a DVD burning Multi Drive in the media bay, and as an unexpected bonus a WWAN card in the wireless pocket with a modem card compatible with my service provider of choice! Battery seems to be in pretty good condition, keyboard works well, touchscreen works, and not a lot of marks or scars on the unit. However, it is missing the serial port cover on the back and strangely, the screws on the hard drive door, and I'd like to get a tether for the stylus to keep from losing it. Can anybody supply me with part #'s for these so I can order them up and restore my system to its OEM glory? Eventually, I'd like to get a media bay battery and car charger, a desktop port replicator, and a vehicle port replicator, but for now, I'm happy. My Gateway has been virtually flawless, but I always held my breath taking it out in the field-not so much with this unit!
Thanks in advance.

Check this site out Future proof Tim’s laptop service manuals or click here for it http://tim.id.au/laptops/panasonic/CF-30FTSAZAM.pdf He has lots of service manuals and one very close to yours.

Thanks for the links-I will check them out. Kinda want to tether the stylus as I have a 3 year old niece and a 5 year old nephew that like to "use" my stuff
. Can't remember how many times I had to hunt for my Treo's stylus after they looked at pictures. I do know have a rough idea what the accessories for these units are worth-they'll be sourced up a little at a time to stay within budget. Desktop replicator is probably #1 on the list for ease of swapping from home to field and vice-versa.
Thanks
