I want to get a touchscreen for my 1G 28. I understand (from reading here) that the 600 is a different setup.

    So the question is this-

Can the basic internals between the two be switched? Can the cabling for the 1G regular screen be fitted to the 600 screen itself, allowing it to be installed in my 1G?

I can get a 600 Touchscreen for pretty cheap.

    Thanks
