I am considering adding 3G WWAN to a CF-T5. As anyone tried using the special Sierra Wireless Modules MC8775V or MC8785V or the Option module GTM382 in any toughbooks? They all support voice and before i drop $350 or more for a voice-enable mini pci-e card as opposed to $100 for a non-voice enabled card, I wanted to know if anyone had done this and verified it will work.

I have CF-29 with AT&T data card GT max 3.6 that I got for free almost 2 years ago with a new activation, I pay $60.00 a month for unlimit access.
I also have "magicJack", magicJack is a USB plug with VoIP service, I pay $20.00 a year for unlimit calls to any phone/mobile/fax in the US and Canada.
I just copy the magicJack application from the usb jack to c:\ drive in my CF-29 and create a sortcut on my desktop. Now I can make and receive calls from my CF-29 any where there is AT&T reception.

My attempt to use the sierra wireless MC8775V mini pci-e card has proven unsuccessful. It doesn't even appear to notice that any device is in the WWAN slot. Is there a list of approved devices in the BIOS? Has anyone added any sierra wireless HSDPA mini-cards to a T5 or similar toughbook light model? Any help in toubleshooting would be helpful. They usually use the Novatel HSPDA mini-card so I was wondering if that will be a problem.
