    Team,

After spending DAYS on the phone with a customer, Verizon and Panasonic we have come down to a rather simple solution to fix a major problem.

Some or all of the symptoms/problems experienced: 1) Cannot connect to Verizon network, especially with static IP on the account. 2) 4G signal isn’t available even though it’s a 4G area and other devices or phones have 4G service. 3) Can’t change APN in the connection manager software – it’s grayed out (This is needed for a static IP).

Simple solution: Run it, reboot and wait 20 minutes within the connection manager program: Index of ./Cellular Modem Software/Verizon Restore Profile Issue/

This is for the Verizon 4G LTE MC7750 card and doesn’t affect any other models.

    Thanks!

Dont get me started on gobi cards and 4G/LTE. It took me days and in the end a new mc7305 card to get it working. I would get a connection in windows but only 2G/bad 3G signal. Opening the aircard watcher program would lock up the card and indicate that it was a Verizon connection.
The solution was pretty simple in the end: deinstall all software, shut off, physical deinstall the card, delete all references to Verizon, gobi, Sierra wireless and such things in the register, boot and then install the card. Just install the Panasonic drivers and DONT INSTALL THE WATCHER software. This helped me. It costed me a new card (I installed some new firmware on my old card, one of those cases where you know you shouldn't do that and yet you just did)...
So it took around three weeks to get a new mc7305 and about four days of work. But I now have really good speeds, ping is usually around 12-15 and speeds are just below 50mb down and just a bit more then 25mb up (maximum speeds the provider gives). These speeds are only possible with excelent signal strength. But it's possible.
Biggest advantage is that I had only one case where there was no 4G signal available: in my office at home!! Unbelievable. But in the rest of the country I aleays have had a good signal. Much better then the 3G networks.

Is the 7750 worse then other cards?
