    I currently have a Gobi-2000 modem in my CF-31 (CF31JBGEA1M).

Has anybody had success with upgrading to a 4G/LTE capable modem?

I have the CF-31JBGEA1M. It had a working GOBI 2000 and I was able to install the MC7550 and it works well with Verizon. It was a card I bought from eBay out of a CF-53. I used the drivers from the Panasonic Driver (CF-31) web site and a SIM card from Verizon. don't really remember the steps I did but it was not too bad, a lot harder to get the GOBI 2000 to work
