Under the heading of paying my debt to the forum for all the help....
I was wondering if there is any interest in a picture reference library, of all the models, parts and components of the Toughbook Line.
Under each heading, could be sub directories, and component pictures based on the available options. Say CF-29, ... Keyboards, ... Standard, Rubber, Chicklet, etc...
I know I've taken boatloads of photos, more like snapshops than product shots, if for nothing other than my ebay listings. But I could crank up the studio and actually take some better high resolution shots of components and parts, as a visual reference page for the forum. I'm sure others could as well, and in short order, we'd have a comprehensive handy reference directory.
I'm sure the first concern is one of physical space, but if a way could be found, it might be a good learning tool, like the stickies and and tutorials.
Any thoughts for or against.
Sam

Yea, exactly, but with pictures

would be a good idea if the guys that have a higher volume hands on of the many different types of toughbooks or at least some of the more popular models that would show photos of components and or modifications for the stickies. I know some or a lot has been contributed by the more experienced members or at least the most knowledgable already but could benefit many old as well as new members. just my opinion.........Driller

Excellent idea and the Wiki would be the place IMHO.
Thanks Sam,

I think it's a great idea to have photos on the wiki. That's one of the issues here. The photo space is limited and I have to delete some to make room for new ones.
