Guys, I had a bit of bad luck with an on duty accident a few months ago and I injured my left hand pretty good. I can pick up things, as long as they are not too small but I lack finesse with them. Also I get a shake in my hand if I strain and this has been a bit of a problem when it comes to upgrading my Toughbook. I moved the stylus lanyard over to my MK 1 and that operation took me close to one hour! I am better now, but really worry about moving sleds and such.
I am also sad report that I been keeping Ken waiting for several months. He has been more than patient, but still I feel very bad about his.
Anyway I'm looking for someone that can help do an upgrade/swap between my CF-30 Mk1 and donor machine I am buying from Ken.
Rick very kindly offered to do this for me; but I was so delayed in getting it to him that other obligations are now prohibiting that.
Basically, I want the GPS, Bluetooth, emissive keyboard Fingerprint reader of my Mk1 moved over to the newer Mark2 and then the RAM and SSHDD installed in the Mk2. I would also live the WiLan setup moved over if that can be accomplished.
I was told that my Mk1 touchscreen was replaced, but do not know if the Mk 2 is better or not, I leave that up to you. If for some reason some of this does not work, let me know. I am also open to any advice that you can give me on this; I really appreciate your superior knowledge on the subject.
I think that is all! If you feel that you are up to this and are interested please let me know!

Guys... I need someone to jump in and help Bill out here. I volunteered to do it for him but I just found out that I got a position I posted for in VA... So I will be moving from MD (Thank God!) back to VA where I am originally from. The thing is... I need to report to my new territory this Monday! I will be gone for 2 weeks the first time and then come back for the weekend. then be gone every week after and home on weekends until I move.
In an effort to help out... I'd be willing to donate some parts to the volunteer that will do this for Bill. I feel bad I can't follow through with my promise to Bill but I just won't have the time.
Let's hook him up! -
PM sent...

If I was States side, I would do it no problem. Shipping to and from Canada with insurance would be expensive. It also takes close to 2 weeks to get a box shipped from North West Callie to me.
-
And I just got back to work for 28 days. If there anything I can do to help let me know.

I should be able to help.

Thanks a lot guys! I have received some amazing offers of help in this problem and I am really touched! I have got to the point I can grab larger things pretty well, but fine movement is still very awkward. But, I am getting better!
If I had not had Ken waiting for months I would not be so concerned with it, not to say that he has not been super patient! UNCNDL1 even offered to swap me a nice working unit! Rick, Shawn and Jeff I am very appreciative, Jeff I will be calling you later if that is OK. Thanks! -
