Hey anyone out there know of a any good power management utilities for the cf-29? I would love to be able to clock down the cpu when I am just typing away and to make the hard drive sleep to squeeze more juice out of it.

Thanks let me know if anyone wants to share! =)

Is the CPUpower utility is not good enough for you. Almost every model of the panasonic fully rugged toughbook has this feature to manage the speed of the CPU. Its like the Speedstep technology featured mostly on intel centrino.

The advantage of NHC is, u can decrease the voltage of ur cpu under the original settings. So u can save more battery-power and also heat-emmision.

will NHC let you set the cpu speed? i just did a fresh install of xp pro and the fastest i get on battery is 25% at 300mhz, 50% on adapter 600mhz.
