a little more extreme than the usual glass of water!!!![]()

WOW,
For sure it is not his own machine, i don't do such things with mine -
One thing for shur. I would not take a chance in going it even it is not mine.
Some people have very good guts to try any thing with toughbooks. -
Matt, that's helluva eye popper for non-toughbookers but nope, I won't try it on mine either... I baby it too much!
Ron in SG -
I like how their desktop pic is a government agency like DOD or CIA or something, its probably someones work computer lmao.....

that lost screw must be having a bad effect on you
-
I saw this video about a week or so ago... Found the like through the Panasonic vendor info on Facebook... Pretty freakin' cool!
-
But, it came though it with no more damage then needing to re-seat the DVD-RAM optical drive! -
Anyone know what depth CF-29s are water resistant to?
-
-
looks to me like a sorority seal -
And the CF-29's arent supposed to go underwater at all!! but ive now seen atleast 3 total submersion videos, so i suppose a quick dunk and you will probably be ok, as the water will take a little time to soak through the seals, but that all depends on the condition of all the gaskets! not something id like to test mind you! -
I think this one was taken on Rob's wedding night!

LMAO now thats funny
-
P.S, we're not married yet... But you better believe that my CF-30 (or maybe CF-31?!?!?!?) will be with me on my wedding day! -
Here's another full immersion amongst others... although they never show which laptops failed/passed!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4Uy7gjwTkM -
I though "full immersion" was for learning another language...
mnem<~~~ No habla DUMB@SS ~~~<<< -
However, that is one of the things I like about computers, they will wait on me till I get around to servicing them. -
I think that the immersion was fine on this one and others because they were cold. If I took mine reading 118degrees F right now and dunked it the rapid cooling would contract the air and pull in water. The one in the video was off when it started and then was turned on. so there was no thermal expantion or contraction untill after it was started and the heat only kept the water out due to the case being pressurised.
Now it would be awsome if panasonic make an EXTREME rugged edition with a case thats pressurized with nitrogen and all internals coated with conformal coating. it would be awsome to have a computer thats rated to 50 meters of water. It would be nice for someone that scuba dives -

Talk about built-in turnover... -
Here is a cool Toughbook VX Durabook site:

Like I am going to take advice on rugged equipment from some panty wrist Mac guy!
What a biased piece, the guy takes a swing in his every choice of words angst the Toughbook right from the start. If that guy did not wind up with a Durabook for this little expostulation, I would be amazed.
Thanks Klawtrax for posting!
A new tough water video!
