    When i seen it i just had to comment. and for future record, if you ever see a 'platinum" colored Duramax with its rear axle wrapped in log chain, just go ahead and see if you can get your money back at the truck pull cause hes going to take that sled where ever it wants to go!

    i know i know theres forums for this but i just thought it was nice to see another guy into diesel power and computers! so i had to give him a hard time about the cummins sticker although nice sticker man!

    Hadn't seen one of those for a long time! I remember my father getting one of those from his work back in the early '80s and think it was so cool!

    I had a Compaq "Portable" in around '84 that looked a lot like that. 256kb ram and 2, yes 2, 5 1/4 floppies. It weighed a ton, but it was state of the art at the time. Intel 8086 processor, I don't remember speed being discussed at the time. It wasn't until my next computer that I had my first hard drive, 20mb. Yes all you youngsters that's MB not GB.

    SMOKE ON GENTS - just remember - Nothing pulls like a Cummins !
    Gonna have to start cooking my own Bio Diesel though - $4 a gallon is cutting into my Toughbook Habit.

    Cummins->YES, Dodge->.... anyway,
    Due to the cost of methanol, my homemade fuel is up to about 1.00/gal.
    Back when I started making it, it was costing about .48 cents/gal.
    Got ya coming and going! This spring methanol should be back down and cost should drop back to around .75 cents/gal.
    Speaking of tough, sitting in the easy chair last night and just shutting down the CF-28, that Apple commercial came on, you know the one for that real thin note book they just came out with,, the one that they show the lady pulling out of a mantilla envelop, my wife says, wow look how thin that is, why don't you look at one of those. By that time I had the Toughbook off and closed up, looked at her and just tossed the CF-28 on the floor from my chair! She about c****d and i said, "Cause that Apple would not take THAT"!
    Thats what I am talking about!

    I agree - I can bet the old Cummins will outlast the dodge it's in - damn shame but what do you expect for a truck made in Mexico -

    Your killin me with the throwing the TB - too funny - ---
