Trying to decide between a T4 and a W4- main issue is the screen. Is the touchscreen on the T as bright and clear as the W4 screen? I've heard that some toughscreens lose a bit of brightness?

Well heres what I have found out so far.
Panasonic tech support says they do not have any screen measurments for the T4 however tell me the T2 touchscreen is rated at 200nits. I persoanlly find that a bit strange as many repoprts I've read say toughbook screens have been rather dim- however maybe no one has tested a T2 but rather the W2 instead.

    Brian,
Thanks for the reply. I would urge you to somehow try to get a T4 and W4 together for a quick comparison.

If as I surmise the W4 has gotten a new screen and the T4 has not- then I think that makes the choice of machine very clear for many. Who wants a dim screen touchscreen or not?

One other thing I think that would be worthwhile to find out is do the US machines get the new stronger chassis as found in the Japanese models?
Hope you can bring some literal/figurative clarity to this, JL
