This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I read about this yesterday... It still is not clear EXACTLY which phones have it and which phones don't. I searched everywhere to see if the DroidX was affected... But I couldn't find anything... Just more scary stuff saying it was on A LOT of phones.

    I'd doubt it. My impression is that this spyware is being inserted by carriers, not the phone makers, and my N900 at least has no carrier customization at all. Plus you can re-flash the whole thing quite easily with the generic firmware and OS if the carrier has messed with it.
