You have to install the driver for it first. Go back to the other thread i explained how to do it in there.

Huh well calwin.exe should extract into the folder where the touchscreen drivers goto.

Did you try a search for calwin.exe ?

    Mouse driver should work
    https://eww.pavc.panasonic.co.jp/pc/public/soft_first/cf-18/mouse_18_1_d030489.exe
    Download the file
    execute it
it will extract to c/utilitys/2/driver I think, but serch to make sure
    go to devise manager
    click on mouse
    update driver
point it to the updated driver as above

    Zippy,
I don't think he can calibrate ,until the correct touchscreen driver is installed in device manager.

Let us know when you get the touchsreen working

    As for the buttons
    Look in the download area
    anything to do with hotkey's
there might be 4 separate files to download and deal with by running the instaler that came in the file ,or dealing with ! marks in device manager.
Its Quite a job to deal with without the restore disks.
There can be 15 or more driver files

The key to this is look in device manager,
You should not have any ! marks.
Also look in, add and remove programs
in my cf-18 I have about 12 programs related to panasonic
    5 say hotkey

O.K........Hope everyone had a great weekend.

O.K......who or where do I go to find out or educate myself on how to trick this CF-18 to its full capacity......

    Memory max.
    What's the Biggest HD.
and what else can I perform....I really like this Toughbook and plan to keep it for a long time.

And we have quite a few threads on the cf-18 lately.
The cf-w5 thread has the hard drive that I currently recomend.
Its a 2.5" 160 gb 5400 rpm samsung, the correct model # is in that thread.
