I saw a CF31 Mk 3 advertised on eBay described as having "low hours" at 5500 hours.
... which got me thinking that would be someone using the laptop for 7 to 8 solid hours 7 days a week for 2 full years,
or tapping away at the keyboard for 24 hours every single day for nearly 8 months without stopping or switching the laptop off.
Both of which seem to me to be a very high level of use.
How does the Toughbook record the accumulated hours? Does the laptop have to be being used or just switched on and does it count sleeping/hibernating?

30000 is ok too if there is led, not lamp, backlight.
5500 one may look and work like new.toughasnails and Shawn like this. -
I have a CF-30 with 44,000 hours on it. Purrs like a kitten.
