I did a search and could not find what I was looking for...
Model CF-28PTJJJGBQM
BIOS Ver 2.00L12
256 stock.
I have 2 sticks of 128 and the computer will not recognize either one, one is a Panasonic labeled CF-BA6132. Both are SODIMM
I do not have a problem buying another stick, just happen to have these laying around. They work fine in the CF-27.
Do I need to flash the BIOS to see the extended memory?
Thanks,
Rick H...

28's are extremely picky about it's ram. The only one that I could get to work was the Kingston brand 144pin. There are links around here somewhere to the exact one from newegg.com. The Kingston seems to work for just about everyone who has tried it on here. I know I don't have any complaints.

There is a newer BIOS version, but it won't affect your RAM at all...
I've gotten lucky though, every stick I've tried has worked (Which isn't many sticks... that's 4 sticks in total).
Just remember, better quality can mean alot of difference. -
Yes... Kingston RAM... This is the one I used in 800mhz and 1 ghz CF-28 machines

Thanks but your link does not work. I went newegg and searched on tjhe product number you had in your link but nothing comes up.
I went back and tried the sticks I have in my 27 and they do not work there. It is nice to have a box of parts but gotta remember to mark the stuff as I throw it in the box!

You want a kingston KTM-TP133/256 or KTM-TP133/512. If you've got something else, try it.. but don't spend any $$ on a different make/model!
