    Hi Guys

Recently I have been thinking about purchasing a refurbed Panasonic Lets Note laptop. Mainly CF-SX2, CF-NX2 and CF-LX3.

However it seems very difficult to find any good English reviews and in general any info.

Do we have any Panasonic users in here and would you recommend a machine like the SX2?

You are in the right spot but most of us use the CF-19 , 30, 31, 52 or 53. I have never seen or used any of them....sorry

    Thanks for the replies!

I have been looking around and it seems the S10 had some heat problems (again difficult to find reliable sources). However the SX1 and SX2 seems to have improved cooling. Do we have any SX2 owners here in NBR?

The CF-52 looks nice but might be a bit overkill for me :)

When you say flimsy you mean? (low build quality, flexing etC?).

I have looked at both the CF-SX2 and CF-NX2, and they look like quality machines. I have found them refurbed for around 500 USD with I5 3320m and SSD. Also I have looked at the SX1 and NX1 which is around 350 USD with I5 2540m. These prices are on par with refurbed Thinkpads in China.

Some Let's Note models are imported as business rugged ToughBook models however. So, consider that.

The only official Let's note I have had was a T1. But the other T, W and Y series were close enough to the Let's notes several parts interchanged.

The SX1 and SX2 looks very nice however I cant find any spec sheets in English.

Had a look at a CF-Y9, but it seems to lack built in mic, so before I make a purchase for a CF-SX it would be great to know if it has a built in mic.

Do you have any sources for spec sheets in English?

hmm I have found several Y8 and Y9 for sale in Asia. The Y9 is with Intel C2D u9600, looks identical to the Y7. So things like integrated might be identical (proably non-existing), but great if I could have a look at a spec sheet.

    Thanks.
