    The simple answer is NO!

The OEM Panasonic batteries are SUPERIOR and are your best bet!

I have plenty of the legit OEM ones in stock for $159.

    Thanks!

And it's possible (and more clever) to buy original ones ~ USD 50-60 per item. Used, but >90% of life. Aftermarket are much worse.

Yep I thought as much, I know a little about battery quality as I've replaced cell in various different rechargeable packs and know there is some rubbish out there. It was worth asking, thanks for the replies

The things is so many members were buying non-oem ones and they were not lasting much more than 6 months and a few blew up too.

This is the BIGGEST problem with knock off crap! Especially from an extra large Asian country! Beware buying anything that is not OEM. Canon says don't do it, now the FBI says don't do it! Especially if you use a lot of batteries ie... medical, ems, law enforcement.... You may save some bucks in the short run, but you will pay more in the long run.... Damaged equipment, damaged BODY, (MOST IMPORTANT), id theft if you buy online through un-trusted sources.. man, the list goes on! Spend the extra and get the real stuff!!!!
