Maybe a little offtopic. As some of u know my lovely girl is with a cf-29 in New Zealand. She bought a car and found a place for the toughbook in this 89er Mitsubishi Pajero/Montero. Take a look:

I said to here:"It s a Tough book. Stabler then other laptops." But i did not know that she fixed it so and she run over unpaved roads, trough rivers and hill up and down with a laptop in this position [IMG] Its really rugged. I think no other laptop would withstand the oscillations. Hopefully it will hold on.

By the way, the GMPC is working with OpenNZmaps and she bought an Adaptercassette for the carradio to hear mp3's and the voice of GMPC over the loudspeaker from the car. Clever! The powersource UPA is from APC, really an all in one powersource for car, flight, home, different countries and devices and additionaly USB-power.

Hmmmm... At first I thought she was driving by using the arrow keys... ;)

Very cool! I hope she affixed it well... A good jolt looks like it would slam it to the floor. But then the Toughbook could deal with that with no problem.

    Thanks for the pics!
