I didn't know this was possible until I got a shipment of 40 CF-29's in today and 2 of the drives were actually CF-30 DVD burner drives. See the attached pic...![]()

 Ahh. I thought there was a thread here detailing the differences between the CF-30/CF-31 and all that went before; I'm pretty sure they stated that the Cf-31 was the first with SATA optical.

Wow Rob, good deal, but I have had a DVD-RAM Burner in mine for over a year.
 
And so I shoved a CF-30 DVD burner in a CF-29 Caddy...
