This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     So, as most of you know, my stupid cell phone doesn't work worth beans because of the signal problems to call long distance numbers from my office. Well I am now using Google Talk for long distance (and local calls for that matter...), and it works just SUPER! It's great too because it isn't an incoming line, ONLY outgoing! Works great!

    Just thought I'd let you know! :D

    I use google talk with a usb wireless Logitech. Works great, sucks there is no real app though you have to leave gmail on if your gonna expect call.

    I use it for my business. I have the calls forwarded to my cell phone, and on my cell phone i programmed my google # as a contact so whenever somebody calls i say hello thank you for calling bla bla how may i bla you. Otherwise i say hey wats up dude.

    MagicJack blows... slows the computer down + the MJ I have doesn't work with Win7 + the software is TERRIBLE!
