This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Well it arrived and looks and works great. Only thing that could have made it better is if the OS was authenticated!
    KB was advertised as backlite and to my pleasant surprize, it is the regular type back lite!
    The 12 year boy is very happy to say the least!

    What a DAD ! - My sons got a 72 and he thinks he big business cause he can surf EBAY for stuff (boy is only 7) spoiled they are. Enjoy !

    Be too hard to explain you as a deduction at TAX TIME!
    The unit is shaping up nice. Can tell it was used more than mine as the coating is worn on the palm rest but still looks great.
    Next week we will order him the wireless mini PCI and a XP COA.
    His back lite chicklet keyboard is sweet! He may loose that before its over!
    Probably could get 1/2 for the as what I paid for the entire computer.
    Got a 7200 rpm 60 gig to go in it as well.
