Seems one of my cats got to the rubber buttons on my CF-19 and shredded them.Just after I got my cool emissive keyboard too. Any repair for these? and is it still watertight? I assume the seal is below the buttons? What should I do slap some electrical tape on there? I still have the little chunks she took out. I could try and silicone it.

I think you need a new keyboard
. Many have tried to fix them but no luck. Their is a post about fixing them but I could not find it.

no, I meant the ones that correspond to the left and right mouse buttons right below the track pad

I've tried gluing silicone back with silicone RTV; it works, but not for long. The keys have a thin membrane area molded into them under the palmrest; as long as kitty's claws didn't get in there between the buttons and the casting, they should still be watertight.
You need to be looking for replacements, or you need to get used to your ToughBook's new "character".

I prefer mine with a few battle scars... -
I usually close my lid and have it set for do nothing when I walk away. Only thing left is the power cord and maybe the covers. Used to have cats(came with the GF) and you barely can stand up and walk away before they managed to get into something they shouldn't have. The spray to keep them from going in areas or touching things don't work.

The palmrest removes easy on the tablets
I would just replace them
Order new rubber covers from Heartlands
And a spare set just in case -
Looking at the service manual it is just held on with double sided tape. So I just pull up really hard or what?
Oh and the cat that did it looks just like the one in your avatar minus the hat, lol. -
I have a solution: Get rid of the damn cat!

And buy some toys for that FleaLion -
Well my solution was to take some bicycle tubing ( Michelin, no less) cut it a little bit undersized and stuff it under and through the holes. I then slathered some black silicone on top. It ain't pretty but who cares
! I will try to post some pics tom... well maybe Sunday after the hangover
