I can appreciate the fact that someone out there wants to "keep the dream alive" and refurbish/upgrade the older models, but man, those prices!! The finished product looks great, but in the end you still have technology that is over ten years old in some cases and in the computer world, that might a well be decades. I know we have talked about the fact that much of what we do could be done on an older/slower computer, but why spend that much money on one that old when you can get a pristine CF-29 or CF-18 for a TON less? Shoot, some of those prices are more than a brand new CF-30 or CF-19 and both of them are eons ahead in the spec department.

That's pretty much an old site... With some updates....

You all should check out UltimateToughbook.net.... And ALL THE REVISIONS! (See the bottom left!)

This guy is the same one who sells tired old SBC units that are repainted as well as the HD caddies made out of PVC handrail.....Also the ones that sell the PEP Boys $5 tire tread for $29...

Apparently they are a couple of "Wanna Be" SPECIAL FORCES AGENTS.... But I think they were washed out during the IQ exam....

This is what happens when you try to fit a square peg in a round hole!

But luckily their arms are long enough to reach up and flush themselves down the toilet.....

    WHooooooosh.........

Rick, it hurts me to say this, but let it go!

You are simply jealous that you did not come up with the "cool" lid protector idea that this fellow did! You have had your day in the sun, but it is time to make room for the young lions!

But even an idea as awesome as cutting up a piece of inexpensive decorative rubber to make a "custom" lid protector has a life span and I believe that I have the next fashion fad completely covered in Toughbook accessorizing!

I only hope that you will not give a negative review to my newest product in a fit of envious spite! :mad2:

Hmmm... Seems Google made him take down all the copyrighted stuff in the revisions. Now he's just a moron.
