Man ! Thanks for that lead !!

I just made an offer, $60 ea for 2, I'll let you know if they accept it.

What ever happened to that load of RIM cards that guy had? I could use 1 of them...

I have gotten 3 from them for 65 each. I always offer 60 but he or she counters for 65. I am glad to see them on there as alot of people try to sell for over 100. He or she is a god send.

We'll see... I'm gonna try a dual-partition install on my laptop to avoid the expense; but if I can't, then I'll be looking for one me'self...

    Glen,

I have 6 RIM boards left at $40.00 each plus shipping. PM me with City and zipcode for shipping cost if you need one and I'd be happy to help you.

I also have 7 CD Roms that I'll let go of for $65.00 and my shipping cost from Fla., not the inflated gig you see on eBay. :p

Combined packages will save you money.

    Thanks.

    Yea same,

I asked the seller but he did not reply to me. I found this in his auction
"for international orders, customs, duties, tariffs, brokerage fees, taxes etc. are buyers obligations"

I think I was hit with some sort of UPS fee I will try and find the ups invoice.
Did he ship using ups to you? Maybe it only applies to high dollar amount items?

Canadians hate it when US sellers use UPS or FedEx for the exact reason you are complaining about. It is the brokerage fees that UPS and FedEx charge to expedite the parcel through customs. Coming from Canada to the US I think there is a threshold around $200.00 that you don't pay duties on.

In Belgium we have the same problem, if the invoice is higher than 50$.
We pay 21% taxes on it (including shipping cost) + 32$ handling and custom fee.
So i always ask a seller to send it as a gift (they don't always do it  )

So thats why we do not buy much in the VS (to expensive for us)

Chinese sellers always ship as a gift :)

    Greetings

Has anyone out of the US used "Access USA?"

    http://www.myus.com/

I've seen it recommended by some eBay sellers and was curious if it was a good idea.

Essentially you get a US address for ebay Sellers that will only ship to a US residence. Then Access USA receives your packages and ships your package to you upon your requests. They're suggesting it eases the cost because they can ship in higher quantities avoiding the inflated international costs on eBay.

    Just wondering.

I hate it too, because when the buyer refuses to pay the fee, fedex/ups comes after the SELLER for it. Always use the post office.. I've never been billed for anything shipped or received through them

I just got all 3 of mine in (Mail) and they look BRAND NEW. When the next UTB sells I'm going back for a lot more at the $60 ea. price! I'll buy 12-13 at that price!

CompuVest? Good lord... run, don't walk to the nearest exit. They're another one like Technology Management Services... their prices are high on crack, typically between 3 and 10 times the going rate on eBay.

I wish I could buy them all! Alas... I have other parts that I must buy!

Does anyone know where I can get as good a deal as on Newegg for my hard drives? They are OUT of ALL the ATA, 7200 rpm drives. I don't want to have to pay $120 for a drive I buy from Newegg (when they have it in stock) for $85.

    Anyone?
