    Aloha,
I am trying to run GE on a 600 mhz CF28. GE requires a screen resolution of 1024x768 and Directx version 9. The card in the machine is a Silicone Motion Lynx EM. Just wondering if this card is a compatible 3d Directx9 card?
    Anyone know?
    Thanks,
    Mike

Ummm... no. Not even close. Lynx EM chipset supports up to DirectX 8.1, and is only designed for 2D rendering. Besides - you really don't have enough processor or RAM for that app, and there's about a 50/50 chance your Mk1 has only a 800x600 screen.

I'm afraid your best bet is to either look for another app, or look for a machine that's slightly higher on the food chain...
