    Ooooo--thanks for the heads up. Remarkable that there's nothing I could find in the Newegg description that alerts one to the fact that this is for servers. It's listed under drives for laptops. Anyway, went with the Samsung 840 Evo series, 250 gb; 139 w/ free shipping w Amazon prime.

    Wondered what that S was for preceding 3500. I'm running a Intel SSD 335 series 240 GB, downloaded in a MK5 and running in a MK1 (29) (because it was a version of Mint requiring a PAE processor...FOR INSTALLATION) Runs in any Mark. 1.2 to 1.6GHz. Or pull it out and install it in a CF-31 or anything.
    What I did with Andre's (techtuff) converter was to cut the two doors off the plastic sleeve in the caddy. Nice easy fit...not crowded and not loose.

    Very good choice. I have 2 of them , 120GB and a 250GB that I got from newegg a few months ago.
