Got a blue tab battery in mine. Seller offered to supply a brand new genuine one and it's been running off AC for about 2 hrs now and only down to 70 pct. Running via wi-fi though no 3g/4g (which would chew battery charge quickly).
I've come across yellow tab (higher cap) batteries for older toughbooks so wondering if they exist for CF31's as well?
On the subject of batteries, I don't have a CD/DVD drive in the media pocket and I recall that I think CF29's did have an option of extra battery in that space. Is that something that exists for a CF31, and if so is it actually beneficial or more of a problem than a solution?

what is the full battery number?
voltage?
mah rating? -
Current battery is a CF-VZSU46AU. Dunno if the 'AU' suffix means Australia-specific.
BTW I found someone selling a brand new genuine Panasonic media pocket battery for a CF31 and have no idea if it's worthwhile...

The media bay battery adds an hour or so of run time depending on how the laptop is setup. -

Myself it's not worth it for little time you get from it. Just buy a regular battery for it.

I think the 2nd battery is worth having.
I sure do not need a DVD drive carried with me so why not fill the bay with a battery.
Anything better than blue tab battery for CF31?
