    I have a Toughbook CF52mk1 with port replicator CF-VEB522M

I am considering to upgrade to a newer CF53 laptop. I see that they use CF-VEB531U as a docking station.

My question is can I continue to use my old CF-VEB522M with CF53? On photos they look quite similar in layout on top (except the handling point at the top).

I highly doubt it. The chassis are much different in size.
