Cap once posted stating that we need to thank the major players around here more often.
I have not had the chance or time to be here very much lately. When I do come over here I realize just what a great place this is. That would not be possible without the hard work and time that was put in by the guys. Without mentioning a bunch of names, then forgetting some, I just want to give a big thanks to all here that has made this place so awesome.

Your'e quite right. I can appreciate that some of the problems people have are minor issues that can often be addressed from reading another persons post, but it doesn't cost anything to chime in & say thanks.
This is me chiming in & saying.....you dudes are good, thanks. -
I agree whole heartedly, there are many on this forum that deserve our thanks and gratitude. No, I'll never know as much as you do! but thanks for guiding and encouraging as we try to follow the paths you've brazed. To the mods and odds and all that have contributed and made this a rewarding venture and enjoyable ride. SALUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Driller

I haven't been a part of notebookreview very long. But I am also a part of a few other forums. And I can honestly say this one is the most impressive one. And that is all because of the level of activity and knowledge and the helpfulness and the awesomeness of the members of this forum. I am glad I am a part of this forum and this is all a thanks to you guys...
Way to go people, and keep up the good work!!! -
Thanks guys!!!
Here and over on TBT too!

I'd like to join the "giving thanks crowd". I got my first toughbook a few months ago and you folks have made the diffrence between it being fun and just plain dangerous! (It's still expensive...
) Thanks!

Thanks guys, for everything you do! This Bud's FOR YOU!!

Now where did those silly frogs go... -
Thanks to all the Gurus that make this work. I always get a quick reply to my questions, several of you have saved me much time and money ! ( which i quickly plowed into another toughbook )
thanks Derrick -
Thanks here too, I don't post a lot, but I'm here all the time and you've been a great help.

Thanks to all the folks who participate here and over at TBT! Over the years I have been lucky to be able to call several of you friends in addition to just faceless people on a forum. I especially want to thank everyone for all the support that I have received (as well as many others), in ways that go beyond just mere Toughbooks. Many of us have had some rough times (and continue to do so...I am furloughed and am waiting to get called back, I hope, I hope), and the words that you folks have spoken help to make it through the bad times (and make the good times even better when we share). Again, many thanks and I hope to keep this and TBT going for years to come!

There's some who talk a lot (like me) and some who know a lot (no names) and a couple that if they speak you better listen and sure as heck not argue. (Scary Smart)
Hubba hubba!
Thanks from the left coast. -
A Thousand Thanks to you Ancient Ones here on the Pani forum .....
... for giving me the Insatiable Toughbook disease ...

I fumbled through my initial CF-17 and CF-27s, and thanks to a swell bunch here, was 'promoted' to 28's and beyond. I'd be sooooo lost without the contributions from everyone. Of course, it doesn't help when they keep you addicted (ask those who knew already!)

As a recovering addict they told me you never are healed, you just swap addictions. I am not sure but I think you guys are enablers.
In less than a year I have gone from "What the heck is a Toughbook" to having 11 of the things. Current tally is 5 plus 2 parts machines. I still can't use more than 1 at a time.
Anyway this is a great forum and the Mods are very knowledgeable and reasonable. We are allowed to have very "spirited" off topic discussions. Flaming is really at a minimum. The worst we usually hear is "Read the FAQ" or "It's already been discussed, use Google search"
I have never been a mod, but I imagine it takes a lot of time and patience.

Thanks to everyone here who has worked hard to make this one of the two top Toughbook Support sites on the Internet! Your efforts have saved me a great deal of time and money and made it possible to take my CF-29 far beyond the original designer's intent.
Sometimes even the posts that were ultimately incorrect have helped push my thinking in directions that it perhaps would not have taken otherwise. -
Cap, That's pretty much what I was getting at.
