Ok so long story short I cant get my firefighters to shut down the cf-30s I have installed in 4 of my fire trucks. Does anyone out there know of a program the will just shut them down at say 10pm every day? I got on shift today and my verizon wireless card had bin connected for 33 hours![]()
Thanks Dave

Welcome to the forum.... You should be able to go into Control Panel and use Scheduled Tasks to do it...

There are also a couple of third party applications on LifeHacker.com that do the same. They are a bit less complicated, but not as reliable as a scheduled process. Make sure to test them out before relying on em. Good luck.

A simple software called "mwconn" is starting and ending my umts/hsdpa-connection. Possibly it works for ur verizon-card....

Hey thanks for the welcome Toughbook!
This forum is great thanks to you guys I was able to get an eBay cf-28 ready for a tour in the sandbox. Because I had it I had a little home with me the whole time. But anyway I digress I tried to use Scheduled Tasks to get it to shut down but I think I need an app to get that to work so I ended up setting a virus scan at 10pm and to shut down after so I’ll just wait to see if it works
Thanks - Max
