Ok so long story short I can’t get my firefighters to shut down the cf-30’s I have installed in 4 of my fire trucks. Does anyone out there know of a program the will just shut them down at say 10pm every day? I got on shift today and my verizon wireless card had bin connected for 33 hours
    Thanks Dave

Welcome to the forum.... You should be able to go into Control Panel and use Scheduled Tasks to do it...

There are also a couple of third party applications on LifeHacker.com that do the same. They are a bit less complicated, but not as reliable as a scheduled process. Make sure to test them out before relying on em. Good luck.

A simple software called "mwconn" is starting and ending my umts/hsdpa-connection. Possibly it works for ur verizon-card....

Hey thanks for the welcome Toughbook!
This forum is great thanks to you guys I was able to get an eBay cf-28 ready for a tour in the sandbox. Because I had it I had a little home with me the whole time. But anyway I digress I tried to use Scheduled Tasks to get it to shut down but I think I need an app to get that to work so I ended up setting a virus scan at 10pm and to shut down after so I’ll just wait to see if it works
    Thanks - Max
