Hello again, I'm still tinkering with 2 toughbooks I've just bought, and noticed that the gaskets on the cf-28 look better than on cf-29, as they look like more a rubber kind, and cf-29 is just a foam, especially the one on the back door. So he is my question, it possible or even necessary to change those, I know that in cars, gasket dry out with time, and the foam one's loose it's shape, as it becomes more and more pressed in. I wonder as the laptops already more than 4-5 years old, should I worry about changing those seals and gaskets, to make sure that laptops still perform to the specs it was meant to perform in rain and high humidity. My other question would be is it possible to buy just those, or not, and what would be that best place to do it.
Thank you all again,
So far that forum is the best place on net to find info on toughbooks.

It wouldn't hurt to change them... If you do, make sure to get the right parts before you rip the old ones out. You can get these parts from hearthlandsi.com by calling them.
Also, does this computer get exposed to rain/water alot? if not then you might not need to replace them.
Thanks -
As of now, it doesn't, but I would like to have a piece of mind, as I do like to work outside, also it's possible it might end up on the boat at some point ...
by the way JB007 rulez is for 007 James Bond  one of my favorite movies, have all collection now
Thanks,
Vitaliy.
