I'm tired of low-quality notebooks made by the very same Chinese-OEM-fabs and I've decided to swallow the pill (availability in Germany, price, chunky looks) and try a business-rugged Panasonic!
Now I'll have to decide between three models/lines and looking for any information (personal experience, reviews - anything!);
B10:
+ hopefully nice, large FHD-screen
- tiny battery (why does the largest Panasonic have the smallest battery?)
- not really semi-rugged (spill/drop-resistance)
F10:
+ semi-rugged
- worse display?
- still no HDMI and USB 3.0
S10:
+ semi-rugged
+ awesome battery life
- bad display? (are there any good 12.1" 1280x800 panels? My colleague has a Samsung, it's horrible)
So it ends up with a question of personal preference. But are there any things I'm missing? Real battery-life, display quality (of course the predecessors are a good indication). What bugs me is that they all seem to be crippled on purpose (small battery on one, missing connectivity on the other, bad display...) - so I'll HAVE to make a compromise. But another Apple or Lenovo? No thanks!
By the way, I'm planning a trip to Japan (I will also use the chance to make a final hands-on evaluation), so I'll buy it there (is it still three years guarantee?).
Thanks in advance!
Maybe we can also use this thread as a collection about experiences and internet findings regarding these not-so-popular B/S/F-series?
I'll start:

My hope is that panasonics addons to windows decrease battery life on the B10 and with a clean windows install the battery life would increase. Spill resistance is also available on the B10, however you can only drop it from 30 cm. That maybe because 1. of the weight and 2. because of the non-quadratical design of the notebook. The notebook is really long. The FHD display should be good. The S/N/F displays are usually horrible, you can see them on youtube.
Be aware that from the current notebook line only the B10 has a 19mm keyboard! All other series have crippled ones. -
New japanese review of the B10:
