Heat dissipate, Intel sets the heat parameters for their chips, Toughbooks and their processors are unaffected in temps of up to 180 degrees. You know little and do little for the 3 people who read this on an annual basis. Intel was concerned about the COLD moron. Its the only laptop with a HEATER. Your dam dumb. The hard drive caddies are cheap? How in the heck would you know? All our customers love their machines, if they didn't they would return them. The homemade caddies idior come from a seller in Canida called TechTough.com. WE KNOW, WE BOUGHT ONE. Give me your ticket number I'll see if you bought a laptop from us so that anything you type here has any truth. Send it over little man so we can validate your nonsense. There are no govt agencies. Message me for a list and their phone numbers. You can call the fire depts, the sheriff's departments and this should shut your puss filled mouth. Yeah, backstory... I have some people who have purchased from him, and I put up a short rant on my blog as a business to avoid.
It's taken months for him to notice.

I gave a short response stating that everything that needed to be said to him was already said via his forum posts.

Logged him, blocked him and dismissed him...

It was kinda fun having him here..

 

It's kinda funny he is saying its someone else that had them when I have the proof . He has 2 ebay seller names now which I will not post but if you check his feedback you will see what I mean. I am posting this just to show it was him selling this junk and not the canadian seller

Interesting that the link has nothing to do with the topic or answering the 1972Chev4x4's question, which was "how to get the esn number from a cf-29 wide area network sled" (It's usually on a sticker on the sled or a sticker on the bottom of the laptop).

Useful suggestions for BH...
First off, loose the "customization" crap, it's not only unnecessary, but stupid looking.

Quit making up toughbook models.

Use non-photoshopped images on your website.

Quit padding your sales, quit lying about the multitudes of "professionals" that use YOUR machines, we all know it's not true.

Use quality original parts, yes it isn't as profitable, but there really is no excuse.

You are going to lose sales, it's just a fact, don't sweat it, and for FCK sake, don't go bellyaching about it.

Keep your cool, it's amusing because when the first negative comment was made long ago, you flipped your nuts.

Learn to repair toughbooks correctly.

Use spellcheck.

Lastly, seek therapy.

4X... need an image let me know. If you need an ESN number, i have a sled I don't use so just send it. the forum does not take to new folks I guess every new person isn't initiated in their club. There are 2 stickers, remove all screws remove speaker clip, from the inside where the ram is, that is where you lift. don't pry the edges. don't worry bout resealing the chip, there's really no need, unlike other laptops, air rarely gets to that and it doesn't flake apart. make sure that battery is out, if its not under the black plastic cage, look at the back of the sled, there are actually 2 stickers. For every 5 comments in this forum, you eventually will get one that helps.

As to catfighting we are not , if this was out of hand I would close this thread. If you only knew how many members have come to us about this you might think differently. I have an email from this seller that I have saved from 2 years ago before this all blew up. He was very rude...some of the things he said were very upsetting and not called for. He was banned from NBR about 4 months ago after about 5-6 posts...He started spamming some of the threads and causing a lot of problems so the Super Mod's shut him down and deleted his posts.
Also if you check our posts you will see that we never said this sellers name or the name of the toughbook he was selling but you did . We will not give him free advertising or more hits on the searchs.
