I have just replaced my battery on my W4 with a brand new Panasonic brand battery however, it won't stay charged. Is there also an internal battery I need to change?

:D Welcome to the Toughbook Forum :D

It's always best to post your full model number when asking a question...it gives us a better idea what we are looking at.. What color is the battery /charging light and is it flashing red ? The w4 has been around for about 6 years and you could of bought a battery that has been sitting on a shelf for the last 4 years and we all know these things only have a shelf life of maybe 3 years so that might be the problem... maybe

Where did you buy the battery? What do you mean by it won't hold a charge? Will it charge at all?
