Tap F9 while the unit is booting up!

I will give that a try. I had ask this question a long time back and the only answer I got was they thought it was located in the BIOS. That is when I discovered my BOIS was password protected so I just left it alone and bought a new battery latter and went on about my business.

But for some reason when I was installing this one I remember seeing it but could not remember where I saw it?

    Thanks

Well I tried the F9 key and no luck. You had posted this in 09 so I guess that is where it is.

"You need to start to boot it up... Then click on F2 to enter the BIOS... Arrow to the right all the way until you get to the "Save & Exit" area.... It should be on the bottom of the list. Click it and sit back and watch.... For hours... "

I will that it out when I really need to I guess.

Yes... But you need access to your BIOS... That is where my PM to you comes into play.

You didn't say the F9 key would be needed in the BIOS and that is what I did try on boot up. Acording to what you had posted in 09 then you would see the battery refresh once you were in BIOS. Did you not :)

Let's try this again.... The F9 key has nothing to do with the BIOS. It is just another way to access the battery recalibration on *most* Toughbooks.

The post you dug up from me in 2009 is correct... But I didn't post that as you said that you were locked out of your BIOS. That is why I PMed you about your BIOS.

    Make sense?
