CF-17 "MINT" condition.
As stated in earlier post, I have a 3 GB hard drive running win 98SE. [original hard drive failed, and local computer shop installed used hard drive as temporary].
I just never have used it. More of a toy really...
I have the port replicator [as new cond.].
VFDU01 Panny Floppy drive
KXL-807A Panny CD player with PCMCIA card
Operating manual
Drivers on CD
The battery is excellent!
This thing is in "perfect" condition, but I don't have the patience to put a new hard drive in it, and update everything as needed.
It is TINY! Even the battery charger is half size. I know some of you Toughbook lovers would like to have this baby!
I really don't want to screw around with Ebay, but if any of you guys want to make a "reasonable" offer, jes' lemme know.
In order to comply with the rules, best reasonable offer over $100.00. Pix to follow later as I am off to an appointment.
I forget that this not a "Toughbook" only forum, I am so used to the regulars on here...
Next stop Fleabay...

Tell you what, $125.00 and you pays the shipping...
I have had it prob, 6 years or so. Never really used it. Just played around with it. It was one of those "gotta have it" things.
Just remember, whoever gets it NEEDS to move everything over to a larger hard drive, or re-install. I just don't have the patience.
As required by law, pic below...

I'm interested... I'll PM you in a sec...

Just PMed you... I'd like to get it and add wifi to it. I've got a little Sony Vaio that my wife like because it is small. I want to sell that and a few others.
-
CF-17 is sold. Dayum, I knew I priced it too cheap...
-
Man that was cheap I would have paid 125.00 just for the good screen.

So is the 17 the "little brother" to the 27 and the 18 to the 28?
-
Nope, it's little brother to CF-M34. Exact dimensions and sharing most components, incl screen and 'handle'. IIRC, CF-17 are not configured with LAN and not sure if the 34's LAN/Modem daughter-board can be used.
-
I'll get wireless into it... Believe me... I'm thinking about running Linux on it. So I might need some help.
Before I put on Ebay...
