    Hallo,
    where can i find Bios,EC and Firmware for a CF-18KHH62BE ?
is there any newer than Bios V4.00L11 and EC V4.30L13 ?

I´m trying to get a SSD (Zheino) to work on it, but without success.
Maybe because of the BIOS, but i´m not shure

    Thanks M.

The Zheino is a PATA SSD, so the adapter is not necessary.

Can we go back to topic please.
I'm searching for the Bios files, not for sata adapters or search tips

Bios flash will not solve the problem.
The older Toughbooks Cf18 and Cf29 have compatibility issues with some brands of PATA ssd's

Experience has taught me. Owning dozens of Toughbooks. Reading the threads in the search I linked.

It may sound like a BIOS problem for other brands, but NOT a Toughbook. Panasonic doesn't issue BIOS updates very often. They do not care about aftermarket compatibility at all. The priority for Toughbooks is durability in all operating conditions. They sell to governments and huge corporations, NOT end users like you and me. These type of customers never upgrade the equipment. They replace it. So in Panasonic's view, the concern is with the hardware as it left the factory, not adding a SSD or even a wifi card.
Many models of Toughbooks are NEVER issued any BIOS updates.

I tried several times with CF-51's and finally quit as it was a waste of time, the pata SSD's simply would not work so it was adapter time.

    Ok,
I want to givel the people of Zheino a few days, maybe they can fix my problem.
Otherwise i will try to get one of these adapters here in Germany or Europe and use a Samsung in my CF-18 instead.
    Thanks M.
