Well I have never been one to buy "consumer" grade anything, but I wanted a little bt gps to use with the cf-29's snazzy little bt usb dongle. I bought a Globalsat BT-359 open box from celltrend on ebay for about $45 shipped. I used it all day today and can't believe how well it works. I'm in my basment office in a stone house not near a window and I have a lock on 10 sats and good#s on 6 :) :) I'm very impressed and no I don't hve a connection to either company. Now I see why you guys are going on about the sirif boards. now I really want an internal cf-29 gps based on this chip.

I am now on the process either on serial or internal usb. I already pulled out the internal usb, so you don't have to worry about installing your usb gps internally but the problem is the power is still on even if the computer is off.

Right now I am concentrating on the internal serial port for gps on cn(18)

TB.. also interested on installing the aftermarket gps on cf-29, he just need a unit to try on.
