    I know what a break box is for autos. What is it used for on a tough box CF-27?

    The break out box I think you are referring to is the remote box which comes with some vehicle docking stations which takes the cable from the dock and provides all of the necessary ports, serial, video, usb, etc. Search the forum as there was a rather comprehensive thread on one. Search LEDco break out box. Forget it, I did it for you, hate to be accused of not being helpful!
