I loaded a fresh OS on my 30 MK2 last night and tried that new bundle download that Panny has. Under the 30 models it shows W7 64 Bit but not a 32 Bit for a MK2. That's kind of interesting.

Tried this bundle download/install and it got the brightness hot keys buttons working, but none of the other front buttons?
In doing so I also lost sound so I had to restore back to previous drivers.
Why for as much money as Toughbook's cost are their so many driver issues?

When I use the recovery disk I never have a problem with drivers. It's when I do it the old way and load the drivers one by one is when I have problems. I have been around Toughbooks for almost 7 years and there is two things you need. A very good set of screwdrivers and the recovery disk to go with it.
    Wiha brand Phillips screwdrivers: #000, #00, #0, #1
