I'm looking to purchase a Toughbook CF-30. Being based in the UK, the average price I've seen is around £3,500 ($7,000) - twice as much as in the the USA!

If I was to buy one in the USA - saving a small fortune - and bring it back to Europe, what would the differences be?

    Aside from,

Different battery Charger - nothing a plug converter can't fix!
A US warranty - but its a Toughbook!

Also, I am interested in getting it fitted with the HSDPA module. Would a US AT&T module work in the UK/EU?

    Thanks in advance.

How much would the import duty or VAT add to the price?

The only thing that I can tell you about the AT&T card is that it requires a SIM, so it should work. I would be more comfortable if someone with actual experience would post with their results.
