Hi, I already have a CF19…. think its a MK1, maybe MK2 but have been considering buying a newer one that has the 1000nit screen so its easier to read outside.

Is there a marked difference in-between the older 500nit and 1000nit screens?

Can anyone recommend anywhere in the Orlando area that sells CF19's off the shelf and are a good price, either new or nearly new.

This should be in the BST forum first of all.

Second of all, a LOT of us on here have Toughbooks to sell.

Third: CF-19 MK3 was the start of the 1000 nit screen, so you need to be looking for a MK3. (CF-19K, L, M or Q).

    Thanks

The 19 you have now is a MK2 . If you are going to be in the USA for a week or so I would post a WTB ad here ToughBook Buy Sell and Trade Forum .My guess you will pay big bucks for one in the Orlando area

    MK3 CF-19K/L/M/Q
    MK4 CF-19S/T/V
    MK5 CF-19A/B/X

Why not buy one in the US and have it shipped to where you will be?

I could be wrong, but what I think the OP means is that he'll be in Orlando for some time soon... But who knows... After all, he wasn't very CLEAR! :p

Sorry guys, your right, I wasnt clear….

Im on holiday in Orlando next week for a couple of weeks and wondered if it was worth getting a new CF19 while I was out there.

I know there are a few on Ebay when I do an international search but its the risk of been stung, now knowing who is a reputable seller and who is to avoid.

The ones I have seen on Ebay do seem to be decent prices though.

Come on guys... Can't someone here hook him up? I don't have any CF-19s or I would... I just have a CF-18 that my wife just gave back to me. Her work just gave her a new laptop she likes better.
