IMHO, no, it' not :) Gobi 1000 is even more reliable :) I have both, and right now I'm on 1000 because it's trouble-free :)

might be just the verizon system but i was getting PP speeds last year over a 900 train mile trip (central minnesnowta to nw montana) ...
    a '30 with a gobi 1000 .
i will say that when others could not connect with their smart phones (let alone a laptop with no WWAN !) i was connected , albeit at slower (yet !) speeds .

I like hearing real world stats. Not just stats while sitting in the living room.

    heh ...
one guy on the train kept insisting that WWAN and WLAN were the same thing ...
i went to the club car and had a soda .
some things just aint worth trying to straighten out .
why did i go to the club car ? because the guy had gotten 86ed from it .

    the 2000 has more difficulty.
But now I have updating the computer at w7 and I'll try again both
